This is where things become little more complicated, but bear with us - we are a startup company and we want to stand behind every sale that we make, with ultimate customer support and unmatched warranty in our price level (and few levels above, as you will see).

WARRANTY

We design and test our equipment to work flawlessly for many, many years (our role models are Scott, Bogen, Dynaco and other classic manufacturers whose amplifiers work well even after 40 or 50 years, with only minor upgrades of dried-out electrolytic capacitors). However, tube gear is sometimes just a little unpredictable and moody and refuses to operate as intended. In those rare instances there is a need for support and that's when our customer service skills kick in. Therefore, we warrant all our products for a period of 2 years plus 10 days (and tubes for 6 months plus 10 days) starting with the date of original shipment  (that's why the "plus 10" - it accounts for transit time, makes it easy for us to track the time and ensures that you have full 2 years coverage). This is a limited warranty (as we cannot help if the unit gets intentionally damaged or in some other rare circumstances), so please make sure to read our LIMITED WARRANTY

 

RETURNS

Below is our tiered return policy. Please note that shipping costs are not refundable. For all the details, please read our complete RETURN POLICY.

- Days 1-30: FULL REFUND

- Days 31-60: 15% RESTOCKING / REFURBISHING FEE

1. Electronics and transformers: 2 years plus 10 days

2. Electron tubes: 6 months plus 10 days

 

Who is covered by this warranty?

Your Vista-Audio warranty protects the original consumer owner of this Vista-Audio product.

 

What is covered?

Except as specified below, this warranty covers all defects in material and workmanship in this product occurring during the above warranty periods. The following are not covered by the warranty: (1) Any product which is not purchased from Vista-Audio or an authorized dealer; (2) damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from a) accident, act of nature, abuse, misuse, neglect (including the lack of reasonable and necessary maintenance), unauthorized product repair, opening of or modification or failure to follow instructions supplied with the product, b) repair or attempted repair by anyone not authorized by Vista-Audio, c) any shipment of the product (claim must be presented to carrier); (3) damage to or deterioration of any accessory or decorative surface (decorative wood, paint defects, mirror finish, etc.);  (4) any product on which the serial number has been modified, removed or defaced; (5) any unit on which the warranty seal is broken or missing; (6) units used for a purpose other than home use.

 

How to obtain warranty service?

If your unit ever needs service please contact us directly. We may direct you to an authorized repair service or ask that you send your unit to us for repair in which case we will send you a Service Return Authorization and detailed shipping instructions. Either way you will need to present the original bill of sale to establish the date of purchase/shipment. Please do not ship your equipment without our prior authorization.

- You are responsible for transporting your unit or arranging for its transportation.

- You must pay the initial shipping charges, but we will pay the return shipping charges if the repairs are covered by the warranty.

- When returning your unit for warranty service, a copy of the original sales slip and Service Return Authorization number must be attached.

You should include the following: your name, address, email address, daytime telephone number, model and serial number of the product and a description of the problem.

 

What we will pay for?

If during the applicable warranty period from the date of original consumer purchase your Vista-Audio product is found to be defective by Vista-Audio, Vista-Audio will repair, or at its option, replace with new, used or equivalent model, such defective product without charge for parts or labor.

If necessary repairs are not covered by this warranty we will contact you with repair estimate and ask for your authorization to proceed with repair. If the unit is not in need of repair, you will be responsible for diagnostic charge.

 

THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY MADE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT, AT OUR OPTION, OF ANY DEFECTIVE PRODUCT AND SHALL IN NO EVENT INCLUDE INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL COMMERCIAL OR PROPERTY DAMAGES OF ANY KIND. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PRODUCTS LOST, STOLEN AND/OR DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING.

This warranty may not be altered other than in writing signed by an officer of Vista-Audio or Verty Technologies, Inc.

RETURN POLICY:

Returns Must Meet ALL Applicable Criteria

If your returned product does not match all applicable criteria listed below, it will be rejected and returned back to you at your cost. Consequently, your RMA will be nullified, any credit request will be denied, replacement orders will not be made, and you will be charged for all shipping charges to and from our Warehouse that may be incurred by Vista Audio. By requesting an RMA and/or shipping a return in violation of this policy you hereby agree to accept our shipment of the return back to you and to the payment of all shipping costs to and from our Warehouse. Our practices are designed to keep prices low and they allow us no room to make exceptions.

Basic Criteria

All returns must include the following:

  1. Original packaging.
  2. Valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
  3. Original packing or sales slip. Do not dispose of the packing/sales slip until you have examined and tested the product to your satisfaction.
  4. The return must be complete and include all accessories and documentation (cables, manuals, warranty cards, etc.).

Return Policy

  1. According to our tiered return policy (above) you have 30 days (or 60 days with restocking fees) from the date your product left the warehouse (regardless of when you actually took delivery of the product) to get a valid RMA from us (by email or regular mail) and get your product to a shipper to return back to us. It does not have to be back in our warehouse within 14 days, but it does have to be in the possession of the shipper (along with the valid RMA). RMAs must be valid, unexpired, and issued for the product being returned. Only one RMA is issued per return. When it expires, you may no longer return your product.

  2. You will be responsible for all shipping charges for returns sent to our Warehouse.

  3. All products are subject to a 0% or 15% restocking/refurbishing fee (depending on the date that you get your product to a shipper).

  4. Upon our acceptance of the merchandise in like new condition in strict conformance with the basic criteria and basic returns policy, the purchase price (minus restocking fee, if any) will be refunded to you. 

  5. Please allow up to fourteen days from shipment for your return to arrive at our Warehouse, delivery times vary based on shipper selected. Your return will be processed within 7-10 business days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays) after receipt of the item.

  6. Some of the items we sell may have Special Return Policies. See the appropriate policy below to see if items you purchase is affected.
